Overview of Knowledge, Understanding and Skills

There is no direct progression route for the Advanced Diploma in Project Management, however a comprehensive awareness of project management methodology is strongly recommended.
On successful completion of this qualification, Learners are equipped with a range of skills including, but not limited to:
• Understanding project cost management and problem resolution.
• Analyse primary techniques for effective project management methodology.
• Apply purchasing procedures and strategies for capital projects.
• Developing project specifications within the business environment.

Career Opportunities

This qualification prepares Learners to undertake a variety of roles in project management. Following successful completion of the qualification, Learners could:
• Seek employment in project management related roles.
• Go on to further work in specialist project management areas.
• Further their studies in project management or a specific business area.

Duration:

The ICM Diploma programme is structured over 3 years—with 2 years of class study followed by 1 year of internship. Please note that the internship year is optional, and you may graduate after 2 years if you successfully pass all your examinations.
