Program Objectives:

To provide students with a body of knowledge which will:

  • To provide qualifications in marketing that combines both subject knowledge and industry experience that is essential for the Learner’s career advancement.

Overview of Knowledge, Understanding and Skills

Learners can access the qualifications at any level, on condition they can provide evidence of the prior qualifications, suitable skills and/or experience required at a certain level. The Diploma in
Marketing is the starting point for Learners with informed knowledge and experience of marketing.
On successful completion of these qualifications, Learners are equipped with a range of skills including, but not limited to:
• Understanding marketing planning and budgeting
• Using marketing management tools and techniques for a range of business and operational situations.
• Analyzing quantitative and qualitative marketing research.
• Applying theoretical concepts to business strategy and management.

Career Opportunities

These qualifications prepare Learners to undertake a variety of roles in marketing. Following successful completion of the qualification, Learners could:
• Seek employment in marketing related roles.
• Go on to further work in specialist marketing areas.
• Further their studies in marketing or a specific business area.

Duration:

The ICM Diploma programme is structured over 3 years—with 2 years of class study followed by 1 year of internship. Please note that the internship year is optional, and you may graduate after 2 years if you successfully pass all your examinations.
