    Overview of Knowledge, Understanding and Skills

    The Diploma in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations is the starting point for Learners with informed knowledge and experience of Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations. Please note, the
    Advanced Diploma is only awarded once the Diploma and Advanced Diploma units are all complete. On successful completion of these qualifications, Learners are equipped with a range of skills
    including, but not limited to:
    • Applying business communication strategies and principles in domestic and international business situations.
    • Understanding the impact of advertising and the controls in place to regulate their use in a variety of countries.
    • Applying methods of marketing research to develop marketing information systems.
    • Understand how to interpret current issues and developments within corporate financial management.

    Career Opportunities

  • These qualifications prepare Learners to undertake a variety of roles in marketing, advertising and public relations.
    Following successful completion of the qualification, Learners could:

Duration:

The ICM Diploma programme is structured over 3 years—with 2 years of class study followed by 1 year of internship. Please note that the internship year is optional, and you may graduate after 2 years if you successfully pass all your examinations.
