Qualification Objectives:
- To equip Learners with broad knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to demonstrate occupational competence in the workplace in the Beauty industry enabling Learners to perform a range of beauty treatments and services.
- To provide a competency based skills qualification in beauty therapy that combines both subject knowledge and industry skills that are essential for the Learner’s development and career advancement.
- To enable Learners to develop beauty therapy skills, techniques, gain knowledge and understanding to prepare Learners to progress to level 3 vocational learning within the beauty industry.
- To provide a progression structure for Learners to develop the workplace skills and personal attributes essential for successful working lives within the beauty industry.

Duration:
The ICM Diploma programme is structured over 3 years—with 2 years of classroom study followed by 1 year of internship. Please note that the internship year is optional, and you may graduate after 2 years if you successfully pass all your examinations.
